Bosch, on the whole, is a fantastic brand to shop with for this kind of appliance. Their technology is always easy to adapt to, but impressively powerful all the same. That’s why, while your Bosch induction hob may seem daunting to use at first, getting used to it will likely become second nature. Trust us on this!

Let’s run through some of the basics in terms of functionality with regard to your Bosch induction hob.

How to turn on your Bosch induction hob

First of all, to turn your Bosch induction hob on, you will need to locate the on/off symbol on the bottom left-hand corner. You will hear a beeping sound when you press it, and the displays next to the cooking zones should flash the number 0. This is to indicate that the hob is on and ready to use. In order to use a zone, simply select the display of the zone or ring that you wish to use by touching its symbol, then use the plus and minus symbols to choose the temperature.

The temperature settings go from one, being the lowest temperature, to nine, being the highest. You will have ten seconds from the time you have selected the zone to the time to select the temperature setting. If you do not set a temperature within the ten seconds’ grace, then the zone will automatically turn off.

Once you have finished using the specific zone, simply select the ring, then press the plus or the minus symbol until the 0 appears on the zone display.
